High School Interventions
High School Interventions Participants will learn how to access and effectively use the same intervention tools their high school students use in the classroom, helping create continuity between school and home. This session will model practical, real-world strategies that parents can apply immediately, including supporting clear and confident oral communication, strengthening academic vocabulary through everyday conversations, encouraging critical thinking and decision-making, and reinforcing math skills through simple, at-home activities. Parents will also explore ways to support academic writing, such as essays and projects, and connect learning to real-world and workforce-related applications to better prepare students for college and career readiness. By the end of the session, parents will feel confident in using the intervention tools, supporting learning routines at home, and extending classroom instruction in ways that are engaging, purposeful, and developmentally appropriate.
